The three filter elements of diesel generator set are divided into diesel filter, oil filter and air filter. So how to replace the generator filter element? How long has it been since you changed it?
1, air filter: every 50 hours of operation, with air compressor mouth blowing clean once. Every 500 hours of operation or when the warning device is red, it is replaced to ensure that the air filter is clean, can pass enough volume and filter the air, and will not cause the emission of black smoke. When the warning device is red, it indicates that the filter element has been blocked by dirt. Open the filter cover first when replacing the filter element, and press the top button to reset the indicator after replacing the filter element.
2, oil filter: after the running-in period (50 hours or three months) must be replaced, after every 500 hours or half a year to replace. First preheat the unit for 10 minutes before stopping, find the disposable filter on the diesel engine, and unscrew it with the belt plate. Before installing the new filter port, check the sealing ring on the new filter, clean the contact surface, and fill the specified lubricating oil with the new filter to avoid back pressure due to air. Apply a little on the top of the sealing ring, put the new filter back in place, screw it to the end with your hand, and then twist it into 2/3 turns. After replacing the filter, run it on for 10 minutes. Note: The oil filter must be replaced at the same time.
3, diesel filter: after the running-in period (50 hours) must be replaced, after every 500 hours or half a year to replace. First preheat the unit for 10 minutes before stopping, find the disposable filter at the back of the diesel engine, and unscrew it with the belt plate. Before installing the new filter port, check that the gasket is just on the seal of the new filter, clean the contact surface, and fill the specified diesel with the new filter to avoid back pressure due to air. Apply a little to the top of the gasket, and put the new filter back in place, do not screw too tight. If the air enters the fuel system, control the hand oil pump to remove the air before starting, replace the filter, and then start running for 10 minutes.
