Generator set manufacturers have some important points to pay attention to when maintaining diesel generator cylinder head, summarized as follows:
1. If the diesel generator due to water shortage and high temperature lead to water leakage, it is likely to lead to cracks in the cylinder head valve seat ring, the fuel injector copper sleeve rubber ring melting at high temperature, the cracked cylinder should be scrapped.
2. The injector copper sleeve and rubber ring may be damaged for a long time, for the oil pan or the top of the piston water phenomenon, should be checked at the bottom of the cylinder head for cracks, the injector copper sleeve and rubber ring is damaged.
3. If the engine cylinder head oil leakage is found to be serious before the overhaul, the cylinder head plane should be ground during the overhaul. The maximum grinding amount of the cylinder head is 1mm, and it is recommended to limit the grinding amount to 0.10mm each time. The minimum thickness of the N series cylinder head is 110.24mm, and the minimum thickness of the K series cylinder head is 119.76mm.
4. During the overhaul of the unit, the water plug of the generator cylinder head should be comprehensively inspected. If the water plug is damaged, it is recommended to replace the water plug of the whole cylinder head.
In the working process of diesel engine, the use of improper maintenance, cylinder block, cylinder head is easy to crack, cylinder liner due to poor lubrication or due to cylinder gasket damage will appear in the early wear and pull cylinder phenomenon. Wear leads to increased oil consumption (normal oil consumption should be no more than 0.5% of fuel consumption) and exhaust black smoke. The repair of cylinder block and cylinder head cracks should be based on the degree of rupture, the damaged part and its own repair conditions and equipment conditions.
