Misconception 1: Diesel engine water temperature should be lower

The water temperature application regulations of diesel generators have clear provisions, but some operators prefer to adjust the water temperature very low, some close to the lower limit value of the water temperature, and some do not have the upper and lower limit value. They feel that the water temperature is low, cavitation is not easy to occur in the pump, and the cooling circulating water (liquid) is not easy to break off, and there is a commercial insurance index in the application. In fact, if the water temperature does not exceed 95 ° C, it is not easy to produce cavitation, and the cooling circulating water (liquid) will not be broken. Conversely, if the water temperature is too low, it is extremely harmful to the work of the diesel generator, as follows:

First, the temperature is low, the combustion conditions of the diesel generator in the cylinder change, but the material is not good atomization, the burning period after the fire is increased, the diesel generator is easy to work rough, and the engine crankshaft rolling bearings, engine pistons and other parts are damaged, the output power is reduced, and the rationality is reduced.

Second, the water vapor after ignition is easy to cold in the inner wall of the cylinder, resulting in electrochemical corrosion.

Third, the diesel engine to ignite will dilute the liquid automobile oil, so that the wetting condition is affected.

Fourth, however, the material is not completely ignited and the collagen fiber is generated, so that the engine piston is stuck in the engine piston tank body, the cylinder is stuck, and the working pressure in the cylinder is reduced at the end of the reduction.

Five, the water temperature is too low, the oil temperature is low, the automobile oil thickens, the worse the circulation, the less oil the high-pressure oil pump, and the diesel generator does not provide enough oil, and the engine crankshaft rolling bearing gap is reduced, and the wetting is poor.

Misconception 2: Diesel generator speed should be lower

Many operators do not want the diesel generator to work at the applied speed, they feel that the lower speed is not easy to cause common failures. In fact, too low speed will also have some adverse effects, the following:

First, too low speed will reduce the power of the diesel generator, reduce its driving force;

Second, too low speed will cause the working speed of each component to reduce, will change the working characteristics of the component, reduce the output working pressure of the high pressure oil pump;

Third, Reduce the reserve output power of the diesel generator, so that the diesel generator that should be in all normal work is overloaded or overloaded;

Fourth, the diesel generator speed is too low to reduce the speed of the working machinery and equipment, it will reduce the physical properties of the work, such as reducing the water flow of the pump, reducing the pump head and so on.
